Dr Wilson Goh, Managing Director of GPA Holdings Pte Ltd is also the founder of the practise which now stands as Team GPA that runs the 5 clinics in Singapore.

Dr Goh ventured into dental business in 1995 and operated in a mere 80 sq ft clinic called Balmoral Dentalcare at Balmoral Plaza. As his passion was fanned into flame, so was his practice that grew stronger to the current 7500 sq ft clinics.

“Scientia Cum Arte" translated as (Synergy of Technology and Craftsmanship) is the motto that Dr Goh has cultivated together with GPA dental surgeons, also known as Team GPA. Thus, to Dr Goh, the first approach that guides the company is the marriage of good dental technologies and the touch of artistry in dentistry. It also governs the high standard of every individual dentist in Team GPA.

However, Team GPA does not adopt new technology just for change’s sake.

As Dr Goh points out, “We only bring in technology that can benefit our patients directly in terms of relieving their discomfort or shortening treatment time. Before adopting any new technology, we always ask what good it does to our patients. We do not believe in acquiring the latest dental equipment to satisfy our own vanity.”

As for the second approach, Dr Goh believes that uncompromising passion and compassion should run the hearts of everyone in Team GPA, both clinical and non-clinical staff.
